On Feb, 21, a charity concert called “Kosher Rhythms” was performed by the “Nefesh” band..

Several hundred people gathered inside the Penza Youth Centre to enjoy modern Israeli, classical Jewish, klezmer, Yiddish, Soviet (Odessa) and Hasid music. Among guests were the head of local Jewish community Michael Tsesis and rabbi Dan Savinov.

“I sincerely thank people of Penza for warmth and hospitality, wonderful atmosphere of concert and kind words afterwards. Hope to hold such events more often in this great city,” – said Igor Dabakarov, the group leader.
