In 1945, May 9 fell on 26 Iyar 5705. It was this date that became another holiday in the Jewish calendar – the Day of Salvation and Liberation.

This year, our community held commemorative events on May 26 and May 9.

We gathered at the community center, recited Kaddish and lit candles in memory of the soldiers and officers of the Red Army.

Our volunteers, the guys from Enerjew and Kolel, congratulated the participants of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers and presented them with gift sets.
