Remembering the great holiday of Sukkot

On September 26, we all gathered together in the Ulyanovsk Jewish community to celebrate the Jewish autumn holiday celebrated in the month of Tishrei.

In the community courtyard, we built a large traditional sukkah hut, similar to the one in which the Jews lived in the desert after leaving Egypt.

Young rabbis Aviel Kolpakov and Eliyahu Prudnikov helped community members to correctly fulfill the commandments – Netilat Lulav and visit a meal in a hut.
A large banquet table was organized for the guests.
The invited ensemble “Mazl Tov” performed incendiary melodies.

We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, the Board of Trustees of the Ulyanovsk Jewish Community, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, the Shmini Charitable Foundation.
